By education, Emil is a marine engineer. Shipbuilding is a discipline where precision is non-negotiable and systems must work together flawlessly. That mindset — understanding how complex mechanisms interact and taking full responsibility for the outcome — became the foundation of how Carmel Auto Repair approaches every vehicle today.
Cars were a natural extension of that path. Not just as machines, but as products of engineering thought and history. From the very beginning, Carmel Auto Repair has worked on vehicles of all makes and models. There was never a single-brand focus or narrow specialization. In the early years, much of our work was B2B. We provided fleet maintenance and service for local businesses that depended on reliability every single day. That experience reinforced an essential principle: trust is built quietly through consistency, clear communication, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
As time went on, we listened closely to the people around us — neighbors, local businesses, and individual drivers. One message came through clearly: people want clarity. They want to understand what’s happening with their car, what matters now, and what can wait. They value honesty more than promises.
